Bringing these ultra-performance benefits to ordinary motorists, Petron Blaze was the official fuel provider of the 2nd Drive Tour Caravan mounted by the Automobile Association of the Philippines last 27 November 2010.  The caravan, which flagged off from Petron Macapagal Avenue in Pasay City, took the Coastal Road to stop at the De La Salle Museum in Dasmarinas, Cavite.  It then proceeded to the GBR Museum in Gen. Trias, Cavite, before proceeding to the Tagaytay Ridge overlooking the scenic Taal Lake, where the day-trippers stopped at the spacious Petron Aguinaldo Highway for some Magnolia ice cream courtesy of Petron Treats.

The convoy then moved on to the historic Taal Town, to view the famous ancestral homes and other historic structures.  Next stop was a visit to the Old Taal Church in San Nicolas, Batangas before proceeding to the provincial capitol in Batangas City, where the participants were treated to native delicacies.  Last pit stop on the way home was Petron Star Toll, capping a most enjoyable day of driving and sightseeing.

Participants to the 2nd AAP Drive Tour Caravan were privileged to enjoy the ultra-high performance of Petron Blaze, and were able to experience its enhanced benefits in actual Philippine driving conditions.  Even owners of vintage cars were assured that the country’s only pure, high-octane unleaded gasoline would be able to protect their priceless vehicles.  

Petron Blaze is positioned not only for luxury vehicles.  In fact, a number of ordinary motorists have expressed a preference for Petron Blaze because the benefits of improved performance and engine protection would translate, in the long run, to lower operating and maintenance costs. 

With its 100-octane rating, Petron Blaze has exceptional resistance to engine knocking which damages car engines quite quickly, and can also result in uneven fuel burn and greater fuel consumption.  Petron chairman and CEO Ramon S. The new 100-octane Petron Blaze is now available at select Petron stations nationwide.  The company also recently introduced two new fuel products namely the Petron Turbo Diesel and Pinoy Gasoline.  Petron Turbo Diesel is formulated for common rail direct injection (CRDI) as well as older engine types for optimum performance.  Pinoy Gasoline, meanwhile, is a more affordable gasoline formulation for public utility vehicles such as tricycles and taxis, as well as bancas and farm equipment.
